Hello everyone, I am creating digital products to sell on my own website, I was wondering if anyone has ideas on how you "host" those digital products.

For example, if you are selling a checklist, where do they download the checklist from?  I would love to hear any and all advice/experiences!

For my email opt-ins that are free checklists, I am just using GoogleDocs, but I want something more secure for paid products.

Thanks!

Hey girl! Welcome to the YBL Boards!

To answer your question, you could simply host the files on your own Websites Hosting and send the link once they pay. You could even make that link Password Protected if you really wanted.

As for actual platforms for selling your Download-able Digital Products, GumRoad is really great for that!

If you are selling a full course, Teachable is hands down the best option.

If you are looking for something specific, let me know what it is you are trying to sell and I can answer your question even more precisely tailored to the product you are selling. But either one of those options should be good for you.

Another decent option is SendOwl.

@timskells

Thank you! Your idea for self-hosting on my website should work; that shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

I was definitely considering teachable because I've taken a couple courses through there and enjoyed how everything was laid out.

I hadn't heard of gumroad though, I will check it out!
