Traffic- Optimizing Your Site

So I've been seeing a lot of information circulating the web about how to get more traffic. Which is great! That's what blogs thrive on.

But what's more important than traffic is what you do with the traffic. Make sure your website is set up to take your visitor on a specific journey. Don't set up your website in a confusing way, like using multiple calls to action, having a ton of ads/pop-ups that distract from content, etc.

Traffic doesn't matter unless you are doing something with it! Otherwise, your heard earned visitors will just click away!

Tell me: how do you optimize your website so that your traffic isn't wasted?

For me, I use ONE CTA per blog post, I have a SMALL banner at the top of every page that advertises my most popular freebie optin, and I work in another opt-in in the middle of every longer post.

Don't confuse people, y'all! Make it easy for them to engage with you and complete your CTA because if they're confused they'll just leave!
